We have a full-time Information Officer who can supply information on a wide range of subjects, free of charge. As well as our brochures detailing our own services and prices, we stock booklets on driving after amputation, arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, choosing a car, car controls, getting a wheelchair into a car, and an address list of adaptation suppliers and fitters.

 
We can also point you in the direction of people able to supply hoists, ramps etc, and give details of local and national organisations who may be able to help you – for example The Stroke Association and their local clubs. 
 
We also stock some DVLA publications and information packs about the Motability Scheme, and can advise on hiring/buying scooters or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles.
 
Advice can also be given on items which help make driving more comfortable such as cushions, seat belt extensions, mirrors, restraints and other accessories. We also hold a database of local driving instructors who offer specialist tuition for disabled drivers.
